Belgian parent, and a Spanish subsidiary set up by someone else: a tax ID, a deed and no control behind it. A Belgian director who needed a NIE before he could sign anything, a non-resident VAT registration for the products, and a triangular flow running Lithuania to Spain to Portugal. The group keeps its own books; we run the calendar, the notices and the people, and what the parent needed explained has been explained in English, from the plastics tax to VeriFactu.

The Evolutia standard
Four things that are always true.
Not targets, not a service level we aim for. These are the four things we’d want to be judged on, on any account, in any month. Each one is written into the engagement letter and measured every month. What you can hold us to →
Nothing will surprise you.
Before you hire, grow or let someone go, you see the number. Total cost simulated before the offer goes out, exit scenarios calculated before the conversation happens, and the collective agreement that genuinely applies to you identified by activity and province.
The shock is never the law. The shock is finding out late.
Nothing will slip.
We hold power of attorney before the tax authority, so notices reach us and not an inbox nobody reads. Your digital certificate is issued, held, and reissued before it expires. Your official mailbox is checked every day.
Deadlines in Spain start running whether or not the letter is opened. So someone opens it.
Someone answers for you.
A named advisor who knows your business, replies within one working day, and stands in front of the Spanish authorities on your behalf. Behind them, a second person who knows the account, and a system where nothing lives only in one person’s head.
Not a ticket. Not a portal. Not a different person every month.
We do what we said we’d do.
The easiest thing in this industry is to describe a service well. The hard part is that it still happens in month fourteen, in August, in the week everything else went wrong.
Every promise on this page is one you can check against what actually lands in your inbox, and the firms that lose clients rarely lose them on capability.
The smart alternative
Why companies choose us over a global firm.
A senior person on your account
Your contact is someone with real experience who knows your business, not a junior on their third account handover. No rotating staff, no quarterly reintroductions, no explaining your own company to a new person every spring.
We are the right size for you
At a global firm your subsidiary is the smallest thing on the partner’s list. Here it is the whole business. That is the difference between being served and being processed.
A fixed fee, agreed in writing before we start
No billable hours, no surprises. You know what you pay each month for tax, accounting, payroll and reporting, and the method behind the number is published: what moves it, what is inside it and what can never appear on an invoice.
We work inside your group’s systems
Your reporting comes out of the system your parent already uses, on your parent’s calendar. Not a spreadsheet emailed over for someone else to rekey.
English by default, Spanish where it counts
Your advisor works in English. Your filings, your inspectors and your collective agreement are dealt with in Spanish by people who do it every day.
One team, start to finish
Incorporation, tax registration, bank, payroll set-up and ongoing management by the same people. No intermediaries, no handover to a delivery team you’ve never met.
Employment — the big Spanish headache
In Spain, hiring is easy. Everything else isn’t.
Employer social security runs at roughly 31%, against about 15% in the UK and 7.65% in the US. Unfair dismissal costs 33 days of salary per year of service, capped at 24 months’ pay. And a collective agreement you never signed — they cover 92% of Spanish workers — sets pay, hours and conditions for your team.
None of that is a reason not to come. It is a reason to know the number before you sign, which is what this does.
Indicative, at 31% employer social security. Your collective agreement can raise the salary floor and add payments you haven’t budgeted for. We identify the one that applies to you by activity and province, before you make an offer.
Evolutia ONE · our own software, end to end
Software that watches. People who decide.
Our system checks every account, every day: deadlines, official mailboxes, deviations in the numbers, changes in employment law filtered by your actual headcount and your actual agreement. It does the mechanical work so that nobody with judgement spends their day on something a machine does as well.
That is why the warning reaches you before the problem does. It is the kind of question the system is built to raise: a client’s labour cost moves 10% in a single month, and somebody asks why before the month closes.
International reporting · foreign GAAP
Your parent’s numbers, in your parent’s language.
Spanish statutory accounts follow the Plan General Contable, which is not US GAAP and not UK GAAP, and the differences surface exactly where they hurt — at consolidation, in front of your auditor.
We keep the statutory books correctly here and hand your parent figures it can actually use: converted to your group’s basis, in your format, on your close calendar, in English. Where your group runs SAP, Dynamics 365 or Sage X3, we work inside it rather than emailing spreadsheets for someone to rekey.
It’s the reason some of our clients chose us, and it is the part of this job most Spanish firms do worst.
How we work
From the first conversation to running it, in four steps.
- 01 · We listen
Your group structure, what you’re trying to do in Spain, what your parent needs back and what date you’re working to. Forty-five minutes, and you leave with a written roadmap in English whether or not you go any further.
- 02 · A proposal with a number on it
Defined scope, fixed monthly fee, and the name of the person who will run your account. Not a range, not an estimate, and not subject to what we find later.
- 03 · Onboarding
Whatever needs setting up gets set up: company, registrations, bank, payroll, books, your access to the portal and the connection to your group’s system. Ninety days, with dates against every step.
- 04 · It runs
Monthly filings, monthly payroll, monthly reporting, and a named person who knows your business. You hear from us before the deadline, not after it.
What twenty-five years of practice looks like.
A Spanish manufacturer with its own finance team and its own auditors, and more than twenty people on payroll. They keep the books; we run employment and tax, and what they value is speed with substance: an answer within the day, and the employment view that protects the company before a decision rather than after it. What they asked for next is the monthly labour-cost report, with absenteeism in euros, which is now in every scope.
